Every stage had a winning cyclist ( the cyclist who crossed the finish line first, or in case of a time trial who took the shortest time to complete the course ) and a team that wins the daily team classification ( the team of which the three best cyclists had the lowest accumulated time ).

The cyclist who wins the stage therefore is not always part of the team that wins the daily team classification.
