* Cathy Goebel is a professor, the Paul A. Anderson Chair in the Arts and current chair of the Department of Art History.

Dr. Goebel oversees collaborative research and publication of faculty and student essays related to Augustana College Art Museum exhibitions.

One example of this is her recent work to coordinate Origins of Modernity, a project that integrated first-year studies with essays from the Augustana community and an elaborate art exhibit and catalogue, as well as a community convocation event.
