On February 8, 2006, Borland announced the divestiture of their IDE division, including Delphi, JBuilder, and InterBase.
At the same time they announced the planned acquisition of Segue Software, a maker of software test and quality tools, in order to concentrate on Application Lifecycle Management ( ALM ).
The new spinoff is called CodeGear.
