One fringe uses this same doctrine to conclude that Branham was equal to Christ, or an incarnation of God himself.

However, most believe that Branham, like other prophets such as Moses and Paul, was given a lesser degree of the Holy Spirit than Christ.

In the same way, all born again Christians are given the Holy Spirit, but Branham was just given a greater portion to fulfil his prophetic ministry.
