Filming was finally completed on January 6, 1938 with the scenes outside of Mr. Peabody's house ( and other shooting locations included the Westlake Street set at 20th Century Fox studios ).
RKO producers had begun to be concerned about the film due to the delays, as well as not liking Grant's glasses or Hepburn's hair.
