* aspirin can be made into a chalky paste by mixing with a lotion and applied as a mask to the affected area.

After letting the paste dry, the area can be exfoliated with a cloth or pumice ( Bath sponges and loofahs should be avoided )-NOTE: Inhibition of C. Albicans biofilm with Aspirin is shown as dose related.

Therapeutic doses ( 100 μM and 1 mM ) of Aspirin may inhibit growth by over 70 %.

Whereas, higher concentrations have shown inhibition of over 90 % after 48 hours.
