After numerous member changes including the departure of co-founder Brown and the addition of guitarist Jason Moss, the Daddies had progressed into a full-time touring band by early 1994.
Now traveling coast-to-coast, the band was playing upwards of 200 shows a year, including spots at festivals such as SXSW in Austin, Texas and New York's CMJ Music Marathon.
The Daddies eventually developed a steady following in the San Francisco Bay Area, where they became a staple of the region's thriving third wave ska scene, acting as regular touring support for ska bands like Skankin ' Pickle, Let's Go Bowling, Fishbone and The Mighty Mighty Bosstones.
In 1994, the group was awarded SF Weeklys title of " Best Unsigned Band ".
