Cummings Township contains two Pennsylvania state parks.
Little Pine State Park is on Little Pine Creek and Pennsylvania Route 4001, northeast of Waterville.
Upper Pine Bottom State Park is on Upper Pine Bottom Run and Pennsylvania Route 44, west of Pine Creek and Waterville.
Portions of Tiadaghton State Forest are also located in the township.
