There was a general consensus that if the slaves were punished too hard or were malnourished, the slaves would start to rebel.
In 1755 Frederick V of Denmark issued more new Regulations, in which slaves were guaranteed the right not to be separated from their children and the right to medical support during periods of illness or old age.
