The main goal of the research schools is to coordinate nationwide research programs in a given area.
Research schools of TU Delft cooperate with other universities in the Netherlands.
Research schools are required to have an accreditation of Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences.
TU Delft is taking the lead in ten research schools, and participates in nine.
