In 1999, Barrymore was honored by the Young Artist Foundation with its Former Child Star " Lifetime Achievement " Award commemorating her outstanding achievements within the film industry as a child actress.
In 2005, she began a recurring role in the animated comedy Family Guy as Brian Griffin's simple-minded girlfriend, Jillian.
She has since appeared in a total of eleven episodes.
She was the subject of the 2005 documentary My Date with Drew.
In it, an aspiring filmmaker and a fan of Barrymore's, uses his limited resources in an attempt to gain a date with her.
On February 3, 2004, she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
