Mr Paul King of King & Co The Tree Nursery took cuttings from this tree in 1990, and since then has potted the cuttings on and found that the trees are indeed resistant to DED.

Mr King then cultivated these cuttings via micro-propagation and now has over 2000 resistant trees for sale to the general public at around 10 foot tall.
