The information evaluation process is crucial life skill and a basis for lifelong learning.

Evaluation consists of several component processes including metacognition, goals, personal disposition, cognitive development, deliberation, and decision-making.

This is both a difficult and complex challenge and underscores the importance of being able to think critically.
