Since 1964, there is a discussion about the violation of the principles of quantum physics in explanation of the Josephson effect in the framework of the BCS theory.

Unfortunately, the discussion took place at the level of private communications only.

Recently, the debate reached the level of a journal publication, interpretation of the Josephson effect here was performed on the basis of the alternative theory of superconductivity as a manifestation of Aharonov – Bohm effect.
