This underground station, opened on April 9, 1936, has four tracks and two offset side platforms.
The two center tracks are used by the A express train during daytime hours.
The platforms have a yellow trim line on a dark yellow border while name tablets read " KINGSTON-THROOP AV.
" in white sans serif lettering on two lines.
They are in a dark yellow border on a lighter yellow background.
Beneath the trim line and name tablets are small black directional and station signs alternating between " KINGSTON " and " THROOP " in white lettering.
The platforms are column-less except for a few dark yellow I-beam ones near fare control.
