Due to this fact, it seems that King Yama along with the external 9 kings were taken out-as derived from the Journey to the West novel.

Random demons seemed to be grouped in this area, in which a very large mansion like area is the only true object seen within this underworld.

Overall, it seems that all demons are meant to come from this area which is meant to be classified as " evil ", in which contradicts the fact that many random demons had been from Heaven, such as a certain animal that changed its body when coming to earth.
