Montgomery is also the home of the Montgomery Little League, a chartered member of Little League Baseball, and is billed as " The Second Oldest Little League In The World ". They were represented in the 1947 Little League World Series, losing to the Lincoln Little League 7-2 and the Brandon Little League 14-2.

Montgomery has not made it back to the World Series since.
