The video games The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages use a similar concept to that which is used in The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.

In those games, the player must switch between the parallel past and present worlds ( Ages ) and between spring, summer, autumn and winter ( Seasons ) to progress through the game.
