One prisoner, Julian Ernesto Guevara Castro, a police officer, died of tuberculosis on 28 January 2006.
He was a captain and was captured on 1 November 1998.
On 29 March 2009, the FARC-EP announced that they would give Guevara's remains to his mother.
The FARC handed over Guevara's remains on 1 April 2010.
