Other caucus members who had expressed interest in running included Jason Dearborn, Allan Kerpan ( a former Reform MP ), and Ken Cheveldayoff, the MLA for Saskatoon Silver Springs who at one time was the President of the Young Progressive Conservatives of Saskatchewan.
