Chief Pomperaug Lodge # 408 was the OA lodge for the Pomperaug Council.
Their name comes from Chief Pomperaug of the Pootatuck Native Americans.
Their lodge totem is a panther.
The lodge was founded in 1949 and ceased operations when it merged with Mauwehu # 389 and Ponus # 521 to form Tankiteke Lodge # 313 in 1972.
