Macainsh, Starkie and Strauks appeared as Skyhooks at the 2009 Helpmann Awards in Sydney.

They performed " Women in Uniform " with Australian rock icon Jimmy Barnes providing vocals.

Red Symons was also slated to perform with the band, but was replaced by Diesel after withdrawing a few days before the show.
