Springfield is also home to Nightingale Montessori, a small private school using the methods from Dr. Montessori.

The school was founded over thirty years ago, and has been educating many from Springfield and other surrounding cities such as Yellow Springs, Dayton, and Jamestown.

The school accepts the Ed Choice scholarship, and the Autism Scholarship.

Students are admitted as early as 18 months, all the way until senior year at high school.
