There are traces of an Armenian phonological, lexical, grammatical and calque substratum in the dialect of Tat-speaking Armenians.

There are also Armenian affricates ( ծ, ց, ձ ) in words of Iranian origin, which do not exist in the Tat language.

This can only be explained by Armenian influence.
