Terri Farley has taught high school, middle school and college freshman English for much of her life.
At San José State University, she earned a B. A.
and Secondary teaching credential in English, then completed a Master's degree in Journalism at the University of Nevada, Reno.
She has taught remedial reading in an inner-city school in Los Angeles, International Baccalaureate English in Reno, Nevada, and almost everything in between, including a semester helping lawyers write.
She holds memberships in the National Council of Teachers of English, International Reading Association and the National Education Association.
She has been writing since she was a child and wrote her first book, Pagan: The Wild Pinto Stallion, when she was eight years old on an old typewriter given to her by her grandmother.
