In addition, The Hague has a policy to partner with various countries of origin of its citizens.

Since 2002 The Hague co-operates with Suriname and in 2009 a co-operation contract was made with the Moroccan provinces of Nador, Al Hoceima and Taza.

There are plans to make such contracts with Turkey and the Antilles.
