A surprising development of the text study is the Terma texts.

Termas ( Treasury Texts ) are texts composed by great Lamas ; but which are hidden away and occulted to everybody, because that is not the time for the text to be revealed.

When the appropriate time will come ( often many years ), the monks will discover the hidden text ; when the world is ready for it.
