The UNCG School of Music, Theatre and Dance is home to over 900 student majors and more than 100 distinguished faculty members.

On July 1, 2010, the School of Music was combined administratively with the departments of theater and dance to create the School of Music, Theatre and Dance.

The offices for the new combined school remain in the current music building.
