In Season Eight, Kennedy and Willow are still romantically involved, but separated during Willow's self-exploration.

Unlike her relationship with Tara, Willow is able to hold a separate identity while with Kennedy.

When she realizes her powers have gone at the end of Season Eight, however, Willow ends her relationship with Kennedy, saying that there is someone else Willow is in love with, who she will never see again.
