He said he had not heard of anybody else.
`` How about Bridget Sullivan ''??
I inquired.
`` Oh, she was just the maid there '', he replied, waving a hand to indicate how completely unimportant she was.
Kirby was, of course, reflecting the opinion that existed at the time of murders.
