Æthelmær was the father of Æthelnoth, who became Archbishop of Canterbury in 1020, and was later regarded as a saint.

Æthelnoth ( also Ethelnoth, Ednoth, or Eadnodus ; died 1038 ) was a medieval Archbishop of Canterbury.
