There is a roundabout, where the road rejoins the old route, for Burton, and Burton Waters Marina, then the road enters the borough of Lincoln at the bend in the road to the left before Bishop Bridge ( over Catchwater Drain and Main Drain ) and meets the A46 Lincoln Bypass at a roundabout.

The Alban Retail Park is on the right before it crosses the South Forty-Foot Drain and railway at a level crossing, then meets the A1121 from the left at a mini-roundabout close to a Peugeot, Citroën and BMW garage.

Boston Shopping Park is on the left, and the road becomes Spilsby Road where it crosses the Maud Foster Drain at Bargate Bridge near Maud Foster Windmill.

It travels south to the community of Bunker Hill, then turns east, and takes in the left tributaries Palen Creek, Shaver Drain and Wereley Creek near the community of North Lunenburg.

It heads northeast, takes in the left tributary Beaver Creek and right tributary McIntosh Drain, then the left tributary North Raisin River at the community of Martintown.

The river flows immediately west under Perth County Road 180 and takes in the left tributary McGrath Drain.

It continues west northwest taking the left tributary Tyndall Drain and then the right tributary Silver Creek at the community of Egmondville, today part of the community of Seaforth in the municipality of Huron East, Huron County.

It continues west northwest and takes in the left tributary Broadfoot Drain, and right tributaries Carnochan Drain and Helgrammite Creek before passing under Ontario Highway 4 between the community Clinton in Central Huron to the north and the community of Vanastra in Huron East, to the south.
