" By the mid -' 60s, the superheroes were back in full force " with Mighty Comics Presents and The Mighty Crusaders, featuring " all of Archie's superhero characters teaming up for epic adventures " under the new imprint Mighty Comics ( alternately known as Radio Comics ).

Archie's Girls Betty and Veronica and the subsequent series Betty and Veronica are comic book series published by Archie Comics focusing on " best friends and worst enemies " Betty Cooper and Veronica Lodge, both girlfriends of Archie Andrews.

The girls were featured in other Archie comics before launching into their own title, Archie's Girls Betty and Veronica, in 1950.

Archie's worst nightmare came true in 1980, on the All in the Family continuation series Archie Bunker's Place, when Edith died ( off-camera ) of a stroke in the 1-hour second season premiere, " Archie Alone ," which originally aired on CBS on November 2, 1980.

Once, the two even said that Jughead's and Archie's friendship could not compare to theirs.

In the last two seasons of the sitcom All in the Family, then known as Archie Bunker's Place, Gordon had the recurring role of Gary Rabinowitz, Archie's Jewish accountant.

The Mighty Crusaders made two appearances in the " Archie's Weird Mysteries " comic ( original stories based on the animated series of the same name ).

In series two Pamela found out about Archie's new marriage facilities at Glenbogle and eventually married Eric.

The series continue the Michael Uslan / Stan Goldberg best-selling Archie wedding series, two ongoing series each featuring one of Archie's two possible futures, one married to Betty and another married to Veronica.
