Garrard County ( ;) is a county located in the U. S. state of Kentucky.

Garrard County was formed on December 17, 1796 from parts of Lincoln County, Madison County and Mercer County.

The five to 15-year plan intends to add service along the southwest, southeast and northeast sections of Columbia and develop alternative transportation models for Boone County.
