Baron Gustaf Adolf Reuterholm ( July 7, 1756 in Sjundeå, Nyland, Sweden ( now Finland )– December 27, 1813 in Schleswig ), was a Swedish statesman.

According to Samuel T. Worcester's history which was commissioned by the town selectmen in 1878, the town was incorporated in the province of New Hampshire on April 3, 1746, " to have continence forever by the name of Holles ..."

1746: A Sulphuric acid factory is set up at Steelhouse Lane to use the lead chamber process invented by its co-founder John Roebuck, Roebuck and local businessman Samuel Garbett later relocate to Prestonpans in Scotland, taking with them several skilled men from the Birmingham factory, it is here in 1762 where Roebuck takes out a patent for making malleable iron.

Samuel Ogle ( c. 1694 – 3 May 1752 ) was the 16th, 18th and 20th Proprietary Governor of Maryland from 1731 to 1732, 1733 to 1742, and 1746 / 1747 to 1752.
