How the Leopard Got His Spots, in Just So Stories ( 1902 ), by Rudyard Kipling, tells of an Ethiopian man and a leopard, both originally sand-colored, deciding to camouflage themselves with painted spots, for hunting in tropical forest.

The band enjoyed enough success to release one single in 1992, " Just Got Back Today ", on Nude Records before they disbanded.

During the 5-month court case, the band recorded both " Just a Little " and the next single, " Got to Have Your Love " ( the original third single, " Wanting Me Tonight " was cancelled during this period ).

Some of the popular songs include “ Just a Gigolo ” and “ I Ain ’ t Got Nobody .” In 1957 they released “ The Call of the Wildest .” Keely worked with other artists to release the album " I Wish You Love ," and received a Grammy in 1958.

The Prima-Butera arrangements and recordings continued to be copied by younger musicians, including David Lee Roth, who covered his medley of " Just a Gigolo "/" I Ain't Got Nobody " in the 1980s, and Brian Setzer, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and other nouveau swing bands of the 1990s, covering such Prima standards as " Jump, Jive and Wail ".

Between 1960 and 1970, Robinson would produce 26 top forty hits with the Miracles as lead singer, chief songwriter and producer, including several top ten hits such as " You've Really Got a Hold on Me ", " Mickey's Monkey ", " I Second That Emotion ", " Baby Baby Don't Cry " and the group's only number-one hit during their Robinson years, " Tears of a Clown ", while other notable hits such as " Ooo Baby Baby ", " Going to a Go-Go ", " The Tracks of My Tears ", "( Come Round Here ) I'm The One You Need ", " The Love I Saw in You Was Just a Mirage " and " More Love " peaked at the top twenty.

While Nelson preferred rockabilly and uptempo rock songs like " Believe What You Say " ( Hot 100 # 4 ), " I Got a Feeling " (# 10 ), " My Bucket's Got a Hole in It " (# 12 ), " Hello Mary Lou " (# 9 ), " It's Late " (# 9 ), " Stood Up " (# 2 ), " Waitin ' in School " (# 18 ), " Be-Bop Baby " (# 3 ), and " Just a Little Too Much " (# 9 ), his smooth, calm voice made him a natural to sing ballads.

These included six Top Ten R & B hits, four of which crossed over to the pop Top Forty: " Cry to Me " (# 5 R & B ), " Just Out of Reach ( Of My Two Open Arms )" (# 7 R & B, # 24 pop ), " Got to Get You Off of My Mind " (# 1 R & B, # 22 pop ), " You ’ re Good for Me " (# 8 R & B ), " Tonight ’ s the Night " (# 2 R & B, # 28 pop ) and " If You Need Me " (# 2 R & B, # 37 pop ).

Other notable artists who recorded early Diamond songs were Elvis Presley, who interpreted " Sweet Caroline " as well as " And The Grass Won't Pay No Mind "; Mark Lindsay, former lead singer for Paul Revere & the Raiders, who covered " And the Grass Won't Pay No Mind "; the English hard-rock band Deep Purple, which interpreted " Kentucky Woman "; Lulu, who covered " The Boat That I Row ", and Cliff Richard, who released versions of " I'll Come Running ", " Solitary Man ", " Girl, You'll Be a Woman Soon ", " I Got The Feelin ' ( Oh No No )", and " Just Another Guy ".

After making the one-off single " Cinco de Mayo " for LA Records in 1981 ( Jerry Goldstein's own label, which also reissued Eric Burdon Declares " War " under the title Spill the Wine the same year ), Lowrider signed with RCA Victor Records and recorded Outlaw ( 1982 ) which included the single plus additional singles " You Got the Power ", " Outlaw ", and " Just Because ".

Bell Sympatico changed its name to Bell Internet on August 8, 2008, in conjunction with the Today Just Got Better rebranding.

Singles for " California Girls " and " Just a Gigolo / I Ain't Got Nobody " succeeded largely due to their innovative music videos ( produced by Jerry Kramer and co-produced by Glenn Goodwin and Bobby Diebold ), which featured ridiculous characters created by Roth and his Creative Chief Director, Pete Angelus, who'd previously directed Van Halen's Roth-era videos.

The full album is currently unavailable on CD in its original mix ( though " Brown Sugar ", " Goin ' Down to Mexico " and " Just Got Back from Baby's " are available in their original mix on 2003's Chrome, Smoke & BBQ boxset, and " Backdoor Love Affair " is available on 1977's The Best of ZZ Top ).

The only single released from the album was " La Grange " ( b / w " Just Got Paid " from ZZ Top's second album Rio Grande Mud ) which peaked at number 41 on the Billboard Hot 100, but on album rock stations " Waitin ' For The Bus " and " Jesus Just Left Chicago " were very popular and played as much as " La Grange ", and since " Waitin ' For The Bus " segues into " Jesus Just Left Chicago " they are usually played together.

" Just Got Wicked " was also a surprise hit, being featured in the soundtrack to the game Jet Grind Radio, and helped add to their fan-base.

She was subsequently a regular panellist on The News Quiz and Just a Minute and appeared frequently on I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue ( from June 2001 onwards ), Have I Got News for You, Mock the Week, Countdown and QI.

She revealed her African-American ancestry in her autobiography, Just Lucky I Guess ( 2002 ).

Henderson's biggest hit songs included " That Old Gang of Mine " ( from the entries of Our Gang comedy shorts in the 1930's ), " Annabelle " ( both 1923 ), " Bye Bye Blackbird ", " Five Foot Two, Eyes of Blue ", " I'm Sitting on Top of the World " ( all 1925 ), " The Birth of the Blues " ( 1926 ), " The Varsity Drag " ( 1927 ), " You're The Cream In My Coffee " ( 1928 ), " Button Up Your Overcoat ", " You Are My Lucky Star " " I'm A Dreamer, Aren't We All ", " Keep Your Sunny Side Up " ( 1929 ), " The Thrill Is Gone ", and " Life Is Just a Bowl of Cherries " ( 1931 ).

She appeared with her husband in the Charmed episode " Lucky Charmed " on which " Heartbreaker " was used and in an episode of Dharma & Greg as herself singing " We've Only Just Begun " at an impromptu wedding in an airport.

" Frankie Laine's 1949 hits, " That Lucky Old Sun ( Just Rolls Around Heaven All Day )" and " Mule Train ," were still riding high on the charts when the decade began.

Herbie recorded his last CD Just a Lucky So and So with the Eminence Portable Upright Bass.

He stayed with Ellington for almost eight years, and featured on a range of Ellington standards, including " Do Nothin ' Til You Hear From Me ", the words for which were written specifically for him and which reached # 6 on the Billboard pop chart ( and # 1 for eight weeks on the " Harlem Hit Parade ") in 1944, " I Ain't Got Nothin ' But the Blues ," and " I'm Just a Lucky So-and-So ".

Dozens of weepy bottom-feeders have tried to write mid-20s angst anthems better than the soaring ‘ Lucky Denver Mint ’ or the delicately heartbroken ‘ Just Watch The Fireworks ’– but few have succeeded.

Second single, " Just Got Lucky ", was somewhat less successful, again supported by a music video while charting on the 50-place Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart for seven weeks during January and February 1985 and peaking at # 27.

Tooth and Nail rose to # 71 on The Billboard 200 during the release of " Into the Fire ", but fell off the charts for a week before re-entering and rising to # 77 during the release of " Just Got Lucky ".

It was during the run of this single that the album, sliding down the charts after " Just Got Lucky " faded, reversed course and hit its peak of # 49.

After exiting Arista, Tillis released It's All Relative: Tillis Sings Tillis for Lucky Dog Records in 2002, plus RhineStoned and the Christmas album Just in Time for Christmas on her own Stellar Cat label in 2007.
