Susan is the descendant of Samuel Mudd, the doctor who treated President Abraham Lincoln's assassin, John Wilkes Booth.

He was first of President Lincoln's five appointments to the Supreme Court: Noah Hayes Swayne – 1862 ; Samuel Freeman Miller – 1862 ; David Davis – 1862 ; Stephen Johnson Field – 1863 ; and Salmon P. Chase – Chief Justice – 1864.

Farnsworth (" I invented electronic television "), Pete Best (" I used to be one of The Beatles "), and an elderly man Samuel J. The plot was borrowed from Josephus and the romance of ‘ Cleopatra .’ In 1678 appeared ‘ The Siege of Babylon, by Samuel Pordage of Lincoln's Inn, Esq., author of the tragedy of “ Herod and Mariamne .”’ This play had been licensed by Roger L ' Estrange on 2 November 1677, and acted at the Duke's Theatre not long after the production at the Theatre Royal of Nathaniel Lee's ‘ Rival Queens ;’ and Statira and Roxana, the ‘ rival queens ,’ were principal characters in Pordage's rhymed tragedy.

The Mudd Club was named after Samuel Alexander Mudd, a doctor who treated John Wilkes Booth in the aftermath of Abraham Lincoln's assassination.

One of her customers was a gentleman called Samuel Lincoln, whom she mistakenly believed to be Abraham Lincoln's father.

Elaborate celebrations, organised by Francis Bacon, followed the ceremony ; these included a performance of The Masque of the Inner Temple and Gray's Inn by Francis Beaumont and The Memorable Masque of the Middle Temple and Lincoln's Inn by George Chapman.

Francis was entered at Christ's College, Cambridge, in 1608, and subsequently at Lincoln's Inn.

The completion of the houses that surrounded it proceeded at a leisurely pace, interrupted by the English Civil War: In 1659 James Cooper, Robert Henley, and Francis Finch and other owners of " certain parcels of ground in the fields, commonly called Lincoln's Inn Fields ", were exempted from all forfeitures and penalties which they might incur in regard to any new buildings they might erect on three sides of the same fields, previously to the 1st of October in that year, provided that they paid for the public service one year's full value for every such house within one month of its erection ; and provided that they should convey the ' residue of the said fields ' to the Society of Lincoln's Inn, for laying the same into walks for common use and benefit, whereby the annoyances which formerly have been in the same fields will be taken away, and passengers there for the future better secured.

Irving Leitner quotes a story by Frank Blair, grandson of Francis P. Blair, one of Lincoln's political confidants:

However, Lyon's action was supported by most of St. Louis ' Unconditional Unionists, including Congressman Francis P. Blair, Jr., brother to Lincoln's Postmaster General Montgomery Blair.

Leonard J. Farwell, a fellow boarder at the Kirkwood House, awoke Johnson with news of Lincoln's having been shot at Ford's Theater ; Johnson rushed to the President's deathbed for a brief time, commenting, " They shall suffer for this.

As Assistant Secretary of War John J. McCloy told Eisenhower: " Lincoln's remark after they got after Grant comes to mind when I think of Patton – ' I can't spare this man, he fights '.

The museum also hosts a collection of teratological specimens ( preserved human fetal specimens ) all of which were donated to science ; a malignant tumor removed from President Grover Cleveland's hard palate ; the conjoined liver from the famous Siamese twins Chang and Eng Bunker ; a piece of tissue removed from the thorax of Abraham Lincoln's assassin, John Wilkes Booth ;, slides of Albert Einstein's brain and a section of the brain of Charles J. Guiteau who assassinated U. S. President James A. Garfield.

A follow-up to an earlier version called Mrs. Lincoln's Boston Cook Book, published by Mary J. Lincoln in 1884, the book under Farmer's direction eventually contained 1, 849 recipes, from milk toast to Zigaras à la Russe.
