In the original TV series and in Adrian Mole and the Small Amphibians, his name is given as Nigel Partridge.

The hill takes its name from the ancient box woodland found on the steepest west-facing chalk slopes overlooking the River Mole.

An early permutation of the band formed in 1981 under the name From Eden ; members included Clint Mansell, Adam Mole, Chris Fradgley, Malcolm Treece and Miles Hunt ( Treece and Hunt went on to form The Wonder Stuff ).

Crabb, Mole and Mansell recruited Richard March and changed their name to Wild and Wandering ( locally AKA Blind and Blundering ), ( named after a Wasted Youth album ) and they eventually became Pop Will Eat Itself in 1986.

" Fallopia " is also the name of a character on the TV show Saul of the Mole Men.
