Farrell, Valerie Solanas, Mary Cantwell, and René Ricard.

At the time of the Sheraton Hotel incident, the extant Ministerial Directive permitted ASIS to undertake ' covert action ', including ' special operations ' which, roughly described, comprised ' unorthodox, possibly para-military activity, designed to be used in case of war or some other crisis '.

The Grand Hotel Villa Igiea, designed by Ernesto Basile for the Florio family, is a good example of Palermitan Liberty Style.

The Savoy Hotel, designed by architect Thomas Edward Collcutt, opened in 1889.

The earliest architectural efforts around the city focused on classical European designs such as the Central Train Station ( CFM ) designed by architects Alfredo Augusto Lisboa de Lima, Mario Veiga and Ferreira da Costa and built between 1913 and 1916 ( sometimes mistaken with the work of Gustav Eiffel ), and the Hotel Polana designed by Herbert Baker.

A City of London Corporation plaque commemorating the station's construction hangs on the wall of the adjoining former Great Eastern Hotel, which was designed by Charles Barry, Jr. ( son of Sir Charles Barry ) and his brother Edward Middleton Barry, and also built by Mowlem.

Desert Hot Springs is the home of the Desert Hot Springs Hotel, designed by architect John Lautner.

In 1926 renowned New York architect Dwight James Baum ( architect of John Ringling's Ca'd ' Zan, the Hotel El Verona in Sarasota, and the West Side YMCA in New York City ) also designed residences in Temple Terrace.

In fact, the original Hotel Country Club was designed to resemble a Pueblo village.

It was designed by John Calvin Stevens, who reduced by two-fifths a plan originally created for the ill-fated Metallak Hotel in Colebrook, New Hampshire.

* Royal Park Hotel-In September, 2004, the Royal Park Hotel, a four-diamond luxury boutique hotel, designed by Victor Saroki opened in downtown Rochester.

The firm also designed the Plaza Hotel.

Douglas designed amongst other buildings the Grosvenor Hotel and the City Baths.

It was designed by the architectural firm of Warren and Wetmore, who also designed Grand Central Terminal, the Commodore Hotel, the Yale Club and many other buildings.
