Now known as Two-Face, Dent wreaks havoc on Gotham and forces Batman to confront his former ally.

It involved Bruce waking up after being shot in the head by Two-Face, temporarily wiping a part of his memory ; he has forgotten his origin and life as the Dark Knight.

Alfred would reveal a second level to the cave, and an amnesia stricken Bruce Wayne would explore the cave to jog his memory after an attack by Two-Face.

It also makes Scarecrow the fourth Batman villain, after Two-Face, Joker and Catwoman, to appear in at least three live action Batman films and the only one to be played by the same actor in all appearances.

Nygma ultimately discovers that his device can increase his own intelligence and, after killing his supervisor, he allies himself with Two-Face and discovers that Wayne is Batman, taking on the mantle of The Riddler.

After his returns he confronts Two-Face and Ra's al Ghul, proving two of his mentor's greatest enemies that he is an equal to Batman after he defeated them.

In Kingdom Come, the Manor was mostly destroyed by Two-Face and Bane after Batman's true identity was exposed ; the Batcave, however, remained relatively untouched.

Another well-known example is the Batman villain Harvey Dent, who developed the criminal personality known as Two-Face after having acid thrown in his face during a trial.

Revealed to be Dent / Two-Face's lover-it is implied that she had a prior relationship with Harvey Dent, the two having attended the same university before she transferred out the year Harvey married Gilda -, she was captured and taken to Two-Face's lair in the sewers, where he shot her after realizing that she was in love with him, and although their relationship had apparently been sexual in nature, Two-Face claimed to still be a " married man ".

One year after the events of Infinite Crisis, the Beast was thrown from a roof by a man thought to be Two-Face, after the Beast botched an assassination.

Not until the end it is revealed that Two-Face has Falcone's body in his possession, having frozen it using Mr. Freeze's cryogenic technology.

Comic book supervillians such as the Joker, Lex Luthor, Sinestro, Green Goblin, Loki, Doctor Doom, Scarecrow, Riddler, Two-Face, the Penguin, Doctor Octopus, Venom and Carnage are well known in popular culture and have been adapted in several films.

In Battle for the Cowl # 3, Vicki reports on the chaos that has been caused by Two-Face in the wake of Batman's disappearance.

Jeph Loeb has stated that the genesis of the story was influenced by writer Mark Waid, who, when told that Loeb was working on a story set in the Year One continuity, suggested focusing on Harvey Dent's years prior to becoming Two-Face, as that had not been depicted in depth since the original Year One story.

In addition, the backstory of Mr. Freeze was adapted from his portrayal in Batman: The Animated Series, and the visuals and / or characterization of Green Lantern, Tim Drake, Supergirl, Toyman, Two-Face, Parasite, Metallo, Clayface, and many others have been applied to their comic counterparts.

When Elliot finally revealed himself to a worn-out Batman, the Dark Knight was saved only by the intervention of Harvey Dent, whose destructive Two-Face persona had been unwittingly wiped out by Elliot when he repaired Dent's disfigured face.

Calendar Man had been occupying the Solomon Wayne Courthouse, trapping anyone who entered and killing them on the next holiday ; just before the game begins, Two-Face and his minions capture the courthouse and lock Day in a cell in the basement.

* Commissioner Jim Gordon-Being one of the two survivors of Hangman, Gordon was nearly hanged to death while investigating the sudden activation of the Bat-Signal while he was in his office, but was cut down by Two-Face, speculated by Batman to have been the result of Dent wanting to prove that he wasn't the Hang Man.

He is one of the three masterminds of the Arkham breakout in the game ; and leads Two-Face, Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy, and Clayface, with the goal of stealing the contents of the Gotham Gold Reserve.

To access the location of Riddler's various trophies and riddles, Batman must interrogate his henchmen who are scattered throughout Arkham City and blending in with the gangs of Joker, Penguin, and Two-Face.

Montoya is cleared of all charges and Two-Face returns to Arkham, but Montoya's personal life becomes chaotic, especially with her family: while her younger brother knows about and to a limited extent accepts her sexuality, her religious parents disown her.

While being dragged through Arkham Asylum, he looks at the prisoners watching him and believes that he sees a Greek deity in their place: the Joker is Hermes the trickster god, Two-Face is the " double-faced " Janus ( actually a Roman god ), and Poison Ivy is the goddess Demeter.

The Joker, Two-Face, Clayface II ( Matt Hagen ), the Ventriloquist, Mr. Zsasz, Firefly, Calendar Man and Rupert Thorne are some criminals that have done time in both Arkham Asylum and in Blackgate Penitentiary.

Scarecrone, whose real name is Jenna Clarke, also acts as a stand-in for Two-Face.

When Joel Schumacher stepped in to direct Batman Forever, where Two-Face was to be a secondary villain, Schumacher decided to pay Williams ' penalty fee to hire Tommy Lee Jones for the part.

The DC Comics supervillain Two-Face, ( most famously as a member of Batman's rogues gallery ), has a double-headed coin with one side defaced — a parallel to his actual character, because one side of his face is deformed from acid throwing — which he relies upon for all of his decisions.

He was then formally signed for the role in the 1995 sequel Batman Forever to play opposite Billy Dee Williams as Two-Face, but the mid-production change in directors from Tim Burton to Joel Schumacher would result in both parts being recast and Wayans being paid out ( Williams was not yet signed on, but he received a penalty fee as his contract for Batman allowed him the option of reprise ), for which he still receives some royalty payments to this day.

He forges an uneasy alliance with Two-Face, but the partnership doesn't last ; Two-Face kidnaps Gordon, putting him on trial for breaking their " legally-binding " alliance.

Disfigured in the explosion and driven insane by grief, Dent becomes the vigilante Two-Face and seeks vengeance against Gordon, whom he blames for Rachel's death.

Two-Face kidnaps Gordon's wife and two children, and forces Gordon to plead for their lives at the site of Rachel's death.

Faced with the threat of the vampire Batman stalking and killing his opponents, Killer Croc and Two-Face form an alliance with Commissioner Gordon and Alfred Pennyworth to trap Batman in the Batcave and expose him to the sunlight ( although Croc briefly contemplated just physically tearing Batman apart himself before the others pointed out that he was too fast for Croc, the vampire Batman proving more than a match for him physically when they did engage in close-quarter combat despite his withered physical condition ).

The manor's remains are finally destroyed for good when Gordon, Alfred, Two-Face, Killer Croc, and Two-Face's gang plant bombs on the cave roof, exposing the interior to sunlight and ending Batman's reign of terror once and for all.

Two-Face partnered with Hyde for a series of technological robberies.

Hyde berates Two-Face, proud he has abandoned his past as Zabo and insults Two-Face for hanging onto his Harvey Dent side, as well as using a coin to decide between right and wrong.

In the end, Daredevil uses his past friendship with Dent to talk Two-Face into supplying the antidote for the chip, which saves Hyde's life.

Two-Face escapes and kills his former assistant Fields for helping Maroni scar him.

She becomes involved when Two-Face puts James Gordon on trial for perceived wrongdoing.

Believing that the only way to have Montoya is to take everything away from her, Two-Face outs her as a lesbian to the public and frames her for murder.

Two-Face becomes more unstable and the two fight for control of his gun until Batman arrives to save them.
