Publicly Available Specifications ( PAS ) are a flexible and rapid standards development model that is open to all organizations.

A PAS is a sponsored piece of work allowing organizations flexibility in the rapid creation of a standard while also allowing for a greater degree of control over the document's development.

A typical development time frame for a PAS is around 6 – 9 months.

PAS finished 5th in the Second Division after the 2006 – 7 season and finished 4th after the 2007 – 8 season, coming very close to promotion and only losing out on the last match day.

Mahathir attributed the loss of his seat to ethnic Chinese voters switching support from UMNO to PAS ( being a Malay-dominated seat, only the two major Malay parties fielded candidates, leaving Chinese voters to choose between the Malay-centric UMNO and the Islamist PAS ).

UMNO lost 18 seats and two state governments as large numbers of Malay voters flocked to PAS and Keadilan, many in protest at the treatment of Anwar.

The interval between the two periods of PAS government, when the Barisan Nasional coalition ruled the state, was only about 12 years ( 11 March 1978 to 21 October 1990 ).

PAS has publicly stated its intent to instate what it claims to be sharia law onto Muslims which includes two sharia components: hudud and qisas.

PAS was formed in 1966 as a result of the union of the two local teams – Atromitos and Averof.
