His solo album Don't Worry About Me was released posthumously in 2002, and features the single " What a Wonderful World ", a cover of the Louis Armstrong standard.

The soundtrack features songs by Newman, Bobby Darin, The Who, Free, Eels, The Guess Who, Bill Withers, Betty Carter, Peggy Lee, The Folk Implosion, Gomez, and Bob Dylan, as well as two cover versions — The Beatles ' " Because " performed by Elliott Smith, and Neil Young's " Don't Let It Bring You Down " performed by Annie Lennox.

In 2005, Gabriel gave a Green Party of England and Wales general election candidate special permission to record a cover of his song " Don't Give Up " for his campaign.

The remainder of the album consisted of cover versions, several of which had been staples of The Beatles ' live shows years earlier, especially in Hamburg, Germany and at The Cavern in Liverpool, including Chuck Berry's " Rock and Roll Music ", Buddy Holly's " Words of Love ", and two by Carl Perkins, " Everybody's Trying to Be My Baby ", sung by Harrison and " Honey Don't ", sung by Ringo Starr.

The cover of the Super Furry Animals ' single " The Man Don't Give a Fuck " featured a famous picture of him showing a V sign to Luton Town goalkeeper Milija Aleksic while playing for Cardiff City.

It can be heard in the music of The Miracles, particularly in their early hits such as " Got A Job " ( an answer song to " Get a Job "), " Bad Girl ", " Who's Loving You ", "( You Can ) Depend on Me ", and " Ooo Baby Baby ". Also, in the early days of The Famous Flames, led by James Brown, the group recorded several Doo-Wop hits, including " Please, Please, Please ", " Try Me ", " Bewildered ", " Oh Baby Don't You Weep " and their hit cover of The " 5 " Royales ' " Think ".

The album itself differs significantly from the first pre-release version of it that had circulated: the songs " Us ", " Deeper ", " Don't Pass Me By ", " Too Far Gone ", " Northern Lights ", and " Loser Like Me " were cut, and " Down and Out of Time ", " A Million Parachutes ", " Tonight ", " Waiting on the Sun ", and a cover of Crowded House's " Don't Dream It's Over " were added.

In order to meet Norman's hospital bills, in November 2002 Solid Rock Records began releasing the Essential Series on CD-R, a set of seven Norman albums, with 142 songs ( including 16 previously unreleased songs ), which comprised: Instigator, which included rough mix versions of two previously unreleased songs, " Butterfly " and " Kulderachna ", both removed from 1973's So Long Ago the Garden ; Agitator, which included three unreleased bonus tracks, " Sweet Silver Angels ", " God, Part 2 ", and " People In My Past "; Liberator, which included songs that were aimed at " liberating Christians who felt trapped inside the church and also providing a cultural doorway to allow those who felt dismissed and isolated by Christianity to find their way into fellowship with Christ regardless of the church's response toward them "; Collaborator, which featured songs representing " the combined efforts of Charles and Larry from lyrics and melodies to arrangements and production ", including three unreleased songs: " Perfect World ", " Don't Wanna Be Like You ", and " Jesus Is God ", recorded about 2000 ; Emancipator, included two unreleased songs of Norman singing with Randy Stonehill: a Christian version of the folk song " He Was a Friend of Mine ", which had been popularized by The Byrds and Bob Dylan, which was re-titled " He is a Friend of Mine ", and " I Love You ", the song Stonehill and Norman co-wrote in 1971 for Stonehill's Born Twice album ; Infiltrator, which sees love as " the most powerful infiltrator in the world ", is a collection of Norman's love songs, and includes two new releases: a cover of David Noble's " Waves of Grace ", and " Stranger, Won't You Change "; and Survivor, included the full 8-minute version of " Dark Passage ", an unreleased third verse of " Baby Out of Wedlock ", and " One Star Remains ", which is Judee Sill's " My Man On Love " from her 1971 eponymous debut album.

" The Beatles would cover " Matchbox ", " Honey Don't " and " Everybody's Trying to Be My Baby " recorded by Perkins but adapted from a song originally recorded by Rex Griffin during 1936 with new music composed by Carl Perkins, a song with the same title also recorded by Roy Newman in 1938.

Regardless, the band continued the tour and played about 25 more Lollapalooza shows, frequently playing a cover of Sly and the Family Stone's Don't Call Me Nigger, Whitey as a duet with Ice-T and Body Count as part of the set.

The single from the album, a cover version of The Temptations song " Don't Look Back ", performed as a duet with Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger, made Tosh one of the best-known reggae artists.

The Michigan band The Gories did a cover version of " I Just Don't Know ," and the song " Sister Anne " may also be found on their House Rockin ' LP.

They enjoyed a minor UK hit with a cover of " I Don't Want To Go On Without You " ( No. 33 ) in February 1965, while the Pinder-Laine original " From The Bottom of My Heart ( I Love You )" ( No. 22 ) produced by Denny Cordell ( with a vocal choral sound towards the conclusion that anticipated their later more famous vocal sound on " Nights in White Satin ") was issued as a UK single in May 1965.

Their last Rascals album was Search and Nearness (# 198 U. S .), which featured Brigati's lead vocals on the Cornish-penned " You Don't Know " and a cover of The Box Tops ' hit " The Letter ", and drummer Danelli's composition " Fortunes ".

In October 1971, their last Atlantic single, " Don't Pull Your Love ," was a cover of a hit by Hamilton, Joe Frank & Reynolds.

Tracy Ullman's 1983 cover of Kirsty MacColl's " They Don't Know " features tubular bells in a celebratory manner, reminiscent of wedding bells.

The album included the band's biggest hit, the No. 1 hit single " Every Rose Has Its Thorn ", along with other hits like: " Nothin ' but a Good Time ", " Fallen Angel ", and the Loggins and Messina cover " Your Mama Don't Dance ".

His fourth album was titled Who I Am, and it contained four number one hits: a cover of the Eddie Cochran standard " Summertime Blues ", followed by " Livin ' on Love ", " Gone Country " and " I Don't Even Know Your Name ".

Produced by Tony Platt, the band's third LP, Don't Know How to Party contained a cover of Stiff Little Fingers ' song " Tin Soldiers " as well as a vocal appearance by Daryl Jennifer of Bad Brains.

Brotherhood of Man released the first single on the label, " Honey Don't Throw Our Love Away " which also did not chart, nor did the follow-up, a cover of the 1960s hit " Will You Love Me Tomorrow ".

The second single, a cover of Elvis Presley's " Don't Be Cruel " also reached the top 10.

" Only You " was used in the film Napoleon Dynamite, the BBC television series The Office, the film Can't Hardly Wait and the Fringe episode Transilience Thought Unifier Model-11 ; a cover version of " Only You " by Joshua Radin was used in 2007 in a J. C. Penney commercial ; " Don't Go " appeared in the BBC series I'm Alan Partridge and was used in the film Tango and Cash.

:* The cover of " Don't Look Back in Anger " ( 1995 ) is a reference to the story when Ringo left The Beatles for a short time, only to be welcomed back with flowers all over his drum set.

:* The cover for the single " Don't Go Away " ( 1997 ) features Liverpool Speke Airport, famous for being the site of The Beatles ' return from a major trip to the US, to be mobbed by fans during the " Beatlemania " era.

The former's album cover shows Berry with his leg in a cast as a result of the accident while filming Easy Come, Easy Go.

Their second album Go 2, released later in 1978, featured a typewriter-text cover ( designed by Hipgnosis ) and early pressings were accompanied by a bonus disc Go +, a collection of dub mixes of songs from the album.

Then Disc 2 of the album contains songs that have not been released officially on an album, or were rejected demos on prior albums, as well as an acoustic version of " A Certain Shade of Green ," and a cover of the Prince song " Let's Go Crazy.

The performance consisted of three Purple Rain tracks (" Let's Go Crazy ", " Baby I'm a Star " and the title track ), along with cover versions of " We Will Rock You " by Queen, " All Along the Watchtower " by Bob Dylan, the Foo Fighters song " Best of You " and " Proud Mary " by Creedence Clearwater Revival.

McGuinn also appears on the 1994 Arthur Alexander tribute album Adios Amigo: A Tribute to Arthur Alexander, performing a cover version of " Anna ( Go to Him )".

In 1968, Summer released ( as Donna Gaines ) on Polydor her first single, a German version of the title Aquarius from the musical Hair, followed in 1971 by a second single, a cover of The Jaynetts ' " Sally Go ' Round the Roses ", from a one-off European deal with Decca Records.

" ( which shot to number one on Billboard and remained in the Top 10 for 25 weeks ), " I Wanna Be Loved ", " There Will Never Be Another You ", and the inspirational " The Three Bells " ( the first recorded English version of the French composition ), along with several solo recordings with Patty, including a cover version of Nat King Cole's " Too Young ", " It Never Entered My Mind ", " If You Go ", and " That's How A Love Song Is Born ".

They released their Epitaph debut S & M Airlines that same year, featuring the video for its title track and the cover of Fleetwood Mac's " Go Your Own Way ", which featured guest vocals by Gurewitz and Greg Graffin, who is also a member of Bad Religion.

Their cover of Canadian group 54-40's " I Go Blind ", originally released on the soundtrack to the TV series Friends in 1995, did not appear on Cracked Rear View or Fairweather Johnson, but nevertheless became a hit at radio in 1996 after three singles from Fairweather Johnson had been released.

They played " Ready to Go ", " Drop Dead Gorgeous " and a cover of " You Got the Love ".

A cover of the show ’ s theme song " Go Speed Racer Go ", performed by Sponge, is included on the 1995 tribute album Saturday Morning: Cartoons ' Greatest Hits, produced by Ralph Sall for MCA Records.

Their cover of Jonathan Richman's " Don't Let Our Youth Go To Waste " was also voted into number 41 in 1989's Festive 50 by listeners to the show.

Their debut single on Liberty, a cover of Wood's " Here We Go ' Round the Lemon Tree ", was scheduled for release and heavily promoted in September 1967.

She sang a cover of the song " Go Your Own Way " in a Swedish MQ commercial in 2007.

Covers have been fairly rare, including John Fahey's cover on his 1984 album Let Go, a cover by session musician and smooth jazz guitarist Larry Carlton, a cover by Les Fradkin on his " Hyper MIDI Guitar " album in 2010, and a cover by Impulsia from their debut album Expressions in 2009.
