AccuWeather produces local weather videos each day for use on their own web site, on the Local AccuWeather Channel, and on wired Internet and mobile web sites.

( On Monday, February 6, 2012, WGY began its affiliation with AccuWeather, severing its long-lived ties with The Weather Channel for its hourly and half-hourly weather reports.

The schedule consists of first run syndicated programs like Judge Judy, Judge Joe Brown, The Jeff Probst Show, and Dr. Phil, off-network syndicated programs like Cold Case Files, Law & Order: Criminal Intent and Cash Cab and classic TV shows like Matlock, along with news rebroadcasts and a simulcast of The 69News AccuWeather Channel during the overnight hours.

The station initially had its own weather department, but later began outsourcing weather duties to AccuWeather in State College, Pennsylvania, which pre-taped weather segments and fed them to WFQX via satellite.
