The album's lead single, " She's Every Woman " peaked at number-one on the Billboard Country Chart, however its follow-up single, " The Fever " ( a cover of an Aerosmith song ) only peaked at number 23, becoming Brooks's first released Country single to not chart on the Top 10.

In early 2001, Rock inducted Aerosmith into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and performed " Sweet Emotion " at the induction ceremony.

In June 2007, McDaniels appeared with Aerosmith performing " Walk This Way " for their encore at the Hard Rock Calling festival in London, England.

On 1 July 2007 Jones was among the invited artists who performed at Wembley Stadium at the Concert for Diana, joined on stage by guitarist Joe Perry of Aerosmith and British soul singer Joss Stone.

* October 9 – Aerosmith cancels several tour dates after Joe Perry and Steven Tyler are injured by an M-80 explosive thrown onstage at the Philadelphia Spectrum, burning Tyler's left cornea and cutting Perry's left hand.

Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, a close friend of Lenny's would appear at The Orpheum Theater in Boston.

One of his most recognized accomplishments was signing the Boston group Aerosmith to Columbia Records in the early 1970s at New York City's Max's Kansas City, which was mentioned in the 1979 Aerosmith song " No Surprise ", where Steven Tyler sings, " Old Clive Davis said he's surely gonna make you a star, just the way you are.

Soon after, the band found themselves invited by fellow Bostonian Steven Tyler, to open up for Aerosmith at their New Year's Eve concert in Boston.

On August 15, 2003, a concert co-headlined by Kiss and Aerosmith and featuring local favorite Ted Nugent and Saliva had been planned for Comerica Park, but was postponed due to the Northeast Blackout of 2003 the day before ; the rescheduled concert took place on September 7.

As a private concert venue, it has hosted such acts as Aerosmith, Robbie Williams, The Cure and Shakira.

The arena opened in October 1993 to a gala and a concert by Aerosmith which was attended by over 7, 000 people, a record that was broken in 2008 by Elton John who brought in 8, 100 fans.
