ARB ( Alexander's Ragtime Band ) is a Japanese rock band formed in 1978.

Alexander's band or Alexander's dark band is an optical phenomenon associated with rainbows which was named after Alexander of Aphrodisias who first described it in 200 AD.

Alexander's built work is characterized by a special quality ( which he calls " the quality without a name ") that relates to human beings and induces feelings of belonging to the place and structure.

The area of Karachi was known to the ancient Greeks by many names: Krokola, the place where Alexander the Great camped to prepare a fleet for Babylonia after his campaign in the Indus Valley ; ' Morontobara ' ( probably Manora island near Karachi harbour ), from whence Alexander's admiral Nearchus set sail ; and Barbarikon, a port of the Bactrian kingdom.
