Then Krishna said: It is lust only, Arjuna, which is born of contact with the material mode of passion and later transformed into wrath, and which is the all-devouring sinful enemy of this world.

Whatever forms are born, O Arjuna, in any womb whatsoever, the great Brahma ( Nature ) is their womb and I am the seed-giving father.

Wherever a being is born, whether unmoving or moving, know thou Arjuna, that it is from the union between the field and the knower of the field.

The most famous of these chapters is the Bhagavad Gita ( Sanskrit: The Celestial Song ) in the Mahabharata, in which Lord Krishna explains the concepts of duty and righteousness to the hero Arjuna before the Battle of Kurukshetra.

Kartavirya Arjuna (, ), was a legendary king of an ancient Hyihya kingdom with capital at Mahishamati which is on the banks of Narmada River in the current state of Madhya Pradesh.

He plays the listener in the Hindu scripture, the Bhagavad Gita which is a philosophical conversation between Arjuna and Krishna.

This battle between Arjuna and Karna is perhaps the most cataclysmic and awesome of the great epic.

The character of Arjuna is described as one whose mind is spotless and clean of all impurities.

On the 17th day of the Great War when Karna is trying to extricate his chariot from the mud, Arjuna ( in spite of all the cruelty and unchivalrous acts previously meted out by Karna to the Pandavas ) hesitates to kill Karna.

Krishna states that no one in the world is dearer to him that Arjuna and that there is nothing in the world that he wouldn ’ t give his friend.

Onna no Minato is one of two soundtrack albums by Yoko Kanno for the anime Earth Maiden Arjuna.

It has produced as many as 4 Arjuna Awardees including Mrs. Minati Mohapatra.

Women's field produced extreme skilled players like Bhavana and Kishori Parekh, Achala Devre ( Arjuna Awardee ) all three of Baroda, Nalini and Sushma Sarolkar of Indore, Veena Parab, Surekha Kulkarni, Usha Nagarkar, Jayashree Deshpande, Sunita Deshpande, Rekha Lunkad, Nirmala Medhekar, Nisha Ambike all of Maharashtra have been the star performers.

Arjuna was very upset that Babruvahana did not respect the duties worthy of a King and did not ask for war.

In the great epic, on several occasions, Krishna reveals his great and eternal love for Arjuna.

He further states that he is unable to live in a world deprived of Arjuna for even a moment.

In Hinduism, for example, epiphany might refer to the realization of Arjuna that Krishna ( incarnation of God serving as his charioteer in the " Bhagavad Gita ") is indeed representing the Universe.

The first occurs when the warrior Arjuna being overcome with compassion against killing his opposing relatives in war, receives counsel ( see Bhagavad-Gita ) from Krishna about his spiritual duty (" work as though you are performing a sacrifice for the general good ").

15 ) When both Arjuna and Duryodhana ask for Krishna's assistance in the war Krishna asks Arjuna first.
