Lefty leadoff man Chase Leavitt was a senior outfielder on the 2009 Arkansas Razorbacks baseball team.

Texas leads the series in football and baseball, while Arkansas holds the series lead in basketball and track & field.

Arkansas and LSU have also built a rivalry in baseball, as the two schools have been at the top of the NCAA attendance standings for the past several seasons.

After he graduated from Little Rock High School on May 27, 1955, where he was scouted for the Arkansas Razorbacks baseball program in Fayetteville, he played in South America in 1955 and in Cuba in 1957.
