* In the Academy Award-winning short Knighty Knight Bugs, King Arthur sends court jester Bugs to recover the Singing Sword from the Black Knight, portrayed as Yosemite Sam in black armor.

The sportswriter Arthur " Bugs " Baer wrote, " Lefty Grove could throw a lamb chop past a wolf.

Bugs Bunny, the court jester of King Arthur, must recover a singing sword from Yosemite Sam ( as the Black Knight ) and his fire-breathing, often sneezing, dragon.

Bugs, as the court jester, dances in and tells King Arthur that " only a fool " would be crazy enough to go after the Singing Sword.

This is the third Bugs Bunny cartoon where the title dose not refer to " hare ", " rabbit ", or " bunny ". The Big Snooze features Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd, voiced as usual by Mel Blanc and Arthur Q. Bryan.
