Breadfruit ( Artocarpus altilis ) is a species of flowering tree in the mulberry family, Moraceae, growing throughout Southeast Asia and most Pacific Ocean islands.

Breadfruit is one of the highest-yielding food plants, with a single tree producing up to 200 or more fruits per season.

Van Mahotsav is an annual pan-Indian tree planting festival, occupying a week in the month of July. During this event millions of trees are planted.

This genus of tree snails live in Hawaii, and all are endangered species.

Grevillea banksii, known by various common names including Red silky oak, Dwarf silky oak, Banks ' grevillea, Byfield waratah and, in Hawaii, Kahili flower or Kahili tree is a plant of the large genus Grevillea in the diverse family Proteaceae.

She planted it in the grounds of her house in Honolulu, by the Nu ' uana stream.
