They decided to make him a totally different character ; instead of the wacky, comic relief character he had been, they turned Daffy into a vain, egomaniacal prima donna wanting to steal the spotlight from Bugs Bunny.

Friz Freleng used the Jones idea for Daffy in " Show Biz Bugs " ( 1957 ) wherein Daffy's " trained " pigeon act ( they all fly away as soon as Daffy opens their cage ) and complicated tap dance number are answered by nothing but crickets chirping in the audience, whereas Bugs's simple song-and-dance numbers bring wild applause.

Following Looney Tunes: Back in Action, Warner Bros. has slowly moved the spotlight away from Bugs and more towards Daffy, as shown in the 2006 video release Bah, Humduck!

Haradaway's nickname around Termite Terrace ( the ramshackle building where the Looney Tunes were originally produced ) was " Bugs ," and the bunny prototype's first model sheet was labeled " Bugs ' Bunny "-- the apostrophe was later dropped.

Sam next lassos a rope around one of the battlements of the castle, but as he is climbing up, Bugs whacks a mallet on Sam's helmet, causing Sam to side down the rope outside of his armor.

Next, Bugs saws a circle around Rocky's chair, only letting him see the tool near the end.

" Top Secret Apprentice ", a segment of the Tiny Toons Adventures episode broadcast on February 1, 1991, is a modern version of the story, with Buster Bunny messing around with Bugs Bunny's cartoon scenery machine and getting himself into a big heap of trouble.

In the film, Klendathu is shown as dark blue with two moons around it, with no structures visible ( perhaps to add to the portrayal of the Bugs as mindless brain-eaters ).

Bugs and Elmer raise their chairs to dizzying heights, and Bugs cuts loose a stage sandbag which bonks Elmer, causing Elmer to wander around in a daze until he's back ( yet again ) in Bugs ' barber chair.

She is also incredibly seductive in her behaviour, quite capable of easily charming men around her ( as displayed with the other Looney Tunes in her first appearance in the movie but with none more so than Bugs Bunny himself, her love interest and boyfriend ).

Bugs ' arm reaches out of the hole, feels around, and snatches the carrot.

Bugs draws Fudd close and says, " Listen, Doc, don't spread this around, but, uh ... confidentially ..." before yelling " I AM A ' WABBIT '!

Much like the Joe Camel controversy around the time of the frogs popularity, a 1996 study showed that children often recognized the Budweiser frogs as much as other ad icons like Ronald McDonald and Tony the Tiger, as well as other cartoon characters like Bugs Bunny.

While Toro sharpens his horns, Bugs interrupts him by placing an elastic band around the horns and using it as a giant slingshot to smack him in the face with a boulder.

The 2008 season saw two further developments, a family water attraction called Yogi Bear and Bubu and a new show, The Music of Bugs Bunny, based around the glamor of Hollywood in a performance reminiscent of the great Broadway musicals.

" However, a viewing of the early Bugs cartoons of the late 1930s and early 1940s clearly demonstrates that the character was not " created " as a whole at one time, but rather evolved in terms of personality, voice, and design over several years through the efforts of Tex Avery, Chuck Jones, Friz Freleng, Cal Dalton and Ben " Bugs " Hardaway, Robert McKimson, Sr., and Mel Blanc, in addition to Clampett's contributions.

The 1963 Bugs Bunny short Transylvania 6-5000 features a brief, silent cameo appearance from Witch Hazel ( or a character very similar to her ), as Bugs transforms Count Bloodcount, the cartoon's vampire antagonist, into her through the use of a magic spell.

* The Fox Network and WB Network airing of this cartoon cut the scene during the montage of Bugs destroying America where Bugs trades Manhattan back to the Native Americans and is shown walking through it wearing a feathered headband and smoking a peace pipe.

Rocky asks which direction the cops went, and after Bugs points the way, he flees the house by jumping through the window while desirably screaming to be arrested and not wanting to be left " with that crazy rabbit!

Dennis the Menace is walking through a town and switches on his torch to find lots of " Beano Bugs ".

The game was clearly inspired by the classic Warner Bros. cartoons of the 1930s through the 1960s, and characters such as Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, but Steve Jackson Games is careful to avoid any copyright violations.

First rising to fame in 1990 hosting the The Bugs Bunny Show on Australian TV, the show provoked controversy through her wardrobe, which was publicised as " middle-aged men ... rush home from work in time to watch Sophie throw to Bugs Bunny cartoons ".

A survey squadron travels through a previously uncharted warp point and encounters a hive-like species referred to derisively as the ' Bugs ' ( inspired by the Arachnids in Robert A. Heinlein's Starship Troopers ).

Bugs then looks for the handcuff key while going through keys to " the garage, the car, the front door, Bugs then whistles to the audience " woo woo!

Bugs ' cover is blown, however, when his cotton tail shows through Abe's trenchcoat, prompting an infuriated Sam to chase Bugs into a tree.

In the back of the theater, Bugs is chased by Elmer and runs through an open back door.
